On Paxos
We have now lived on the island of
Paxos and been involved in various business aspects on the island
since the winter of 2001. I actually feel in love with Greece when a
very young boy on a trip to Crete and always planned to live and
work in Greece. And now I have made it!
With this intention I took my wife
around many areas and islands but she never really liked any as much
as I did UNTIL we came to Paxos and we stayed in the village of
Loggos!
We arrived in the evening after it had
gone dark but there was a lovely atmosphere. It wasn't until the
next morning that we realized that we had come to somewhere special.
My wife opened the shutters (we were staying at the
Manor House of Loggos) and she just said, "Come and look at
this!" and a few years later we were here full time to live. And
still love it now.... It never fails to amaze me how many people
fall in love with this island and come back year after year!
We are now building a house here and
our daughter Natasha is in school here whilst my wife is helping me
with all the businesses.
